The rules for the singles Deathmatch competition are as follows:

1.
You must have paid the minimum £5 entry fee to take part. Server details will be imparted to players after we have confirmed that they have paid to enter.

2. When donating your entry fee on JustGiving you must specify the nickname you will be using to compete in this tournament. If you do not specify a nick, either then or to an organiser afterwards and that nick turns up in a game, that nick will be REMOVED from the game and will not be allowed to compete.

3. An organiser must be present in the match (competing or not competing) for the results of said match to be official.

4. Players must organise a time and date during the time the tournament is taking place and, if applicable, BEFORE the cut-off time for their matches to take place. You can play all 5 matches in one go or you can spread them out over the time period. When you have organised a match/matches, you must inform an organiser, so the relevant match can be set up and refereed.

5. All matches MUST be set up by either an organiser or the owner of our dedicated server. If this is not the case, match results will not count.

6. If you don’t show up for a match, you don’t get any points, simple as. Therefore, the more matches you show up for, the better chance you have of progressing.

7. All draws are made entirely at random.

8. Time limits for matches will be 10 minutes. Kill limits for matches will be set at 100. This target is not intended to be reached, it is set deliberately high so there is more of a range of scores and so matches aren’t ended before the time limit.

9. Maps will be randomly picked by organisers or referees.

10. Obvious cheating on the part of a participant or organiser can be brought to the attention of [murray], Bunny or Garg or the referee of the game in question only. In these cases, referees and/or organisers decisions are final. Rules can and may change at any time.
